Renaud has more than thirty years of international experience in the field of life sciences. Before joining Physiostim, Renaud was the founder, CEO and/or CSO of biotech companies. He was involved in the strategic development, managing scientific and business aspects to identify market opportunities. The longest story was Libragen, which has been incorporated by Renaud in 1998 and gave up to the Swiss cosmetics group Induchem, now Givaudan in 2013. After the company’s incorporation into the group in 2013, Renaud left Libragen to develop an operational consulting activity enabling him to invest in numerous innovative projects on behalf of manufacturers and research centres such as INSERM and CEA. Renaud obtained a PhD from the University of Lyon/UC Davis (1997) and an Executive MBA from EM-Lyon (Lyon Business School) in 2000. Renaud is a guest lecturer in the field of biotechnology and technology transfer at various universities and engineering schools. He is the author of more than thirty scientific articles and 9 patent applications and patents. Renaud joined the PhysiosTEAM in 2019.
With more than 18 years of experience at PhysioStim, Richard is one of our most qualified Study Director of in-vitro preclinical GLP studies on cardiovascular safety. He obtained a Master of Science in pharmacology and physiology at the University of Poitiers (France) in 2003 ended by an 8 months internship in cardiovascular research division of Pierre Fabre, and joined PhysioStim at the end of his University Course. Richard has also received expert training to direct non-clinical studies and R&D projects as well as multisite studies within the GLP framework.
Stéphanie has been PhysioStim’s Study Director of patch-clamp studies since 2005. She has more than 14 years experience in patch clamp electrophysiology and holds a Master of Science in pharmacology and physiology from the University of Poitiers (France) in 2005, followed by an internship in cardiovascular research division of Pierre Fabre. Stéphanie has also received expert training to direct non clinical studies and R&D projects as well as multisite studies within the GLP framework.

Hélène joined PhysioStim in January 2010 as Study Director of Isolated Langendorff Perfused Heart studies. She has a Master of Science in physiology and pharmacology from the University of Poitiers (France) in 2008. She also spent one year as a neuroscience researcher of the physiopathology of neuronal plasticity at the INSERM research laboratory of Bordeaux, France. Hélène has also received expert training to conduct non clinical studies and R&D projects as well as multisite studies within the GLP framework.
Myriam joined PhysioStim in February 2003, as our Quality Assurance Manager. She has a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Quality Assurance in 2002 from the University of Tours, France.
Elodie joined PhysioStim in September 2022 as a business developer. She has a PhD in pathophysiology and a Master’s degree in Innovation Management in 2017 from the Toulouse Management School, France.
Bruno LeGrand
Senior Expert, Scientific Advisor
With 30 years of experience in biopharma, health care, and industrial biotechnology, Bruno Le Grand has extensive cardiovascular pharmacology and international drug development expertise.
He is skilled in the management of pre-clinical and clinical projects (scientific strategy, project leader, regulatory document, IMPD, BI, IND meeting, etc.) as well as international research collaborations, industrial companies, and the ability to deal with health authorities (FDA, EMEA, etc.). He was the Head of Cardiovascular Research at Pierre Fabre (2004-2016) where he was in charge of the R&D cardiovascular program from drug discovery to clinical proof of concept. He also developed several projects such CVasThera company, a biotech dedicated to chronic inflammatory diseases, and is scientifically implicated in several biotech companies.
He has published more than 80 research articles. He holds 24 patents in the Cardiovascular and abdominal inflammation area
Bruno Le Grand joined the PhysiosTEAM at the end of 2020.
Marie Le Grand
PhD President & Founder
Before founding PhysioStim in 2000, Dr. Le Grand worked in collaboration with the French Muscular Dystrophy Association AFM. She completed her experience in electrophysiology in the team of Prof. Coraboeuf at the Orsay University of Sciences in Paris, France. In 1992, Dr. Le Grand received her PhD in Animal Physiology from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris VI, France. She also obtained a Master’s degree in cardiovascular pharmacology from the Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France, in 1988.

Céline Salvetat
Study Director of Microelectrode, Langendorff Isolated Perfused Heart & Isolated Organ baths Studies
Céline has been our Study Director since January 2005. As a member of the ethics committee for animal protection used for scientific purposes, she’s also responsible for the animals in our studies. Céline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physiology in 2004 from the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse, France. Céline has also received expert training to direct non clinical studies and R&D projects as well as multisite studies within the GLP framework.

Frédéric Delteil
MS MBA Sales Director
Frédéric holds a Master of Science degree in pharmacology and pathophysiology from the University of Nice in France. He began his career as a Biology Research Engineer, managing scientific projects within the French CNRS and INSERM research institutions for 10 years. Frédéric then added a Pharmacovigilance Degree to his training and took up the position of Drug Safety Scientist within Regional PharmacoVigilance Center CRPV, an organization attached to the French ANSM health authorities. He subsequently obtained an MBA from the IAE School of Management in Lyon, France. Frédéric worked as a Business Development Manager on strategic aspects of sales within the International Operations & Business development department of a pharmaceutical company before becoming Key Account Manager for a pan-European supplier of innovative reagents and laboratory services for the life science sector. Frederic joined the PhysiosTEAM in 2018.
Myriam Crambes
Quality Assurance Manager
Myriam joined PhysioStim in February 2003, as our Quality Assurance Manager. She has a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Quality Assurance in 2002 from the University of Tours, France.
Khadija Mialet
Maintenance
Khadija joined part-time PhysioStim in August 2011. She ensures the maintenance of facilities, the animal units and the relative equipment.
